A church where you and your family can truly belong
If you are looking for a church home, you probably want a place that is sound in teaching, warm in spirit, and good for your kids. You want a place where you can belong, not just sit in a crowd.
At Glad Tidings Assembly of God, you will find a church family that loves Jesus, teaches the Bible, and welcomes you as you are while helping you grow.

What you can expect on a Sunday
Visiting a new church can be a scary experience. We get that. Here is what you can expect at Glad Tidings.
Friendly faces at the doors, ready to help you find where to go.
A relaxed, come-as-you-are feel. Some dress up, some dress casual.
A full breakfast and Sunday School at 9:30 for those who want to come early.
A Spirit-filled worship service at 11:00 with music, prayer, and clear Bible teaching.
A message that opens God’s Word and points to Jesus in everyday life.
You will not be asked to stand up and introduce yourself. You can take it at your own pace, meet people as you feel ready, and slip out when you need to.
Find your place to grow and serve
You were made for more than sitting on the sidelines. God has given you gifts and a story, and there is a place here for you to serve and grow.
Glad Tidings offers:
Sunday School classes for both adults & children that help you dig deeper into Scripture.
Mid-week Bible studies and prayer gatherings where people actually learn your name.
Ministries for children, youth, and adults, including support for those facing addiction and other struggles.
Serving teams for hospitality, worship, tech, outreach, and more.
We will help you take one simple step at a time, from visitor to friend to part of the family.
Watch a message before you visit
Sometimes it helps to see and hear a church service before you walk through the doors.
Our livestream and message library let you:
Watch recent services from home or on the go.
Hear the preaching style and music before you visit in person.
Share a message with a friend who needs encouragement.
Whether you are checking us out for the first time or had to miss a Sunday, you can stay connected to what God is doing here.
You are welcome here in Pocomoke
If you are new to town, starting over, or just looking for a new church home, you are not alone. Many in our church have walked the same road.
We can’t promise a perfect church. We can promise a warm welcome, a place to belong, and a family that will walk with you as you follow Jesus.
Plan Your Visit
Start here if you are new

Our services include worship, prayer, and clear preaching from the Bible. The atmosphere is warm and reverent, not stiff. You will see some people in dress clothes and others in jeans. Come as you are.
What about my kids and teens?
Children ages 4–11 are invited to Treasure Harbour, our kids ministry. They enjoy age-appropriate Bible teaching, songs, and activities in safe, supervised rooms. Nursery care is available for little ones.
Students in grades 6–12 can plug into OverFlow Youth on Sunday nights from 6:00–8:00 pm. It is a place to belong, have fun, and grow in Christ with friends and caring leaders.
